Last updated: 13 September 2026
This policy explains how Cura FZE handles personal information for the BMEs Service Request app and this support website. For questions or privacy requests, email care@cura.cx.

- Account and professional information: name, email address, mobile number, organisation, job title, emirate, account role and approval status.
- Provider information: company name, business type, contact information, trade-licence documents, supported brands, equipment categories, services, coverage and activation or subscription status.
- Service activity: equipment details, issue descriptions, requests, responses, comments, photos, documents and request history you submit.

- Device and technical information: push-notification tokens, notification preferences, device platform, and technical request information such as IP addresses and server logs used to operate and secure the service.
- Support and deletion requests: the email address and information you supply when contacting us or submitting a form on this website.
Why we use information
We use information to authenticate users, review registrations, maintain equipment and provider records, route service requests, enable responses and communication, send requested service notifications, provide support, process account requests and maintain service security.
How information is shared
BMEs administrators can review account and service information to operate the service. Equipment and issue details, attachments and responses are made available to authorised participants in the service-request workflow. Engineer contact details are shared with a provider when the engineer chooses to connect with that provider.
Service providers that support hosting, authentication, notification delivery and email process information needed for those functions. These include Google Firebase for authentication and push messaging, Apple push-notification services on iOS, Microsoft email services, and Netlify for this website and its forms. Providers may process information outside your country. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and rights of users and the service.
Permissions and choices
Camera, photo-library and document access are used when you choose to attach equipment images or files. You can manage device permissions in your phone settings. You can switch notifications off in the app or device settings, update available profile fields in the app, or contact us to correct information you cannot edit.
The app does not include advertising or cross-app advertising tracking features. This support website does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts.
Retention and deletion
Account and service information is retained while needed to provide the service and maintain the account and its service history. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time using our deletion form, including if your registration has not yet been approved.
Deletion requests are reviewed manually. We verify account ownership, confirm the expected completion date and notify you when processing is complete. Information that must be retained for legal obligations, disputes or security may be kept only for those purposes; we will explain any applicable retention when responding to your request. Deletion is not the same as temporarily suspending an account.
Security
The service uses HTTPS for data in transit, authenticated access and role-based permissions. No service can guarantee absolute security. Do not share passwords or verification codes.
Professional use and patient data
BMEs is intended for professional equipment service coordination and is not directed to children. Do not submit patient names, medical records, patient images or other patient information. Contact support if such information has been uploaded inadvertently.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest published version. Contact Cura FZE at care@cura.cx for privacy questions or requests.
